Fathers and sons

The Fatherhood Advocate Resource Center is an important and growing division of Fathers and Sons of Northeast Ohio.
Why is this project needed?
In the State of Ohio, fathers who were not married to the mother of their biological children at the time of the child's birth have no legal right to parent their children. This program will improve the legal system and family court.
What We Do
- We provide education sessions that teach non-custodial parents about filing the necessary court documents
- We help with completing a request for child support debt solutions
- We work with local Child Support agencies to help fathers gain the privilege of license reinstatements.
- We help non-custodial fathers complete their application to the putative registration list.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to improve the justice system in particular Family Court by removing the barriers that prevent equal access to the courts for low-income fathers/parents.
